To ensure that you get the most out of your tasting room experience we’ve put together a few Do’s and Don’ts! By following these simple guidelines, you and your friends will have a fabulous time!

  • DO - Designate a driver and drink responsibly.
  • DON’T – Keep drinking until you are intoxicated. By law we cannot serve anyone who is drunk regardless of who is driving.
  • DO – Bring your friends!
  • DON’T – Forget to check out our group policy. If you are coming to the winery with 8 or more persons, you will need a reservation!
  • DO – Have a great time and share with your friends what you love!
  • DON’T – Scream or yell; the people at the other end of the bar don’t care what you like!
  • DO - Be patient.
  • DON’T – Serve yourself! Your wine consultant will be with you as soon as they can!
  • DO – Come as you are, there is no dress code! Except we do require shoes and shirts!
  • DON’T – Wear heavy perfume or cologne; it will affect your tasting experience and the tasting experience of those around you!
  • DO – Put your cell phone on vibrate.
  • DON’T – Answer your phone or send a text from the bar. Please excuse yourself to do these activities!
  • DO – Savor your taste! Each wine has its own flavor and characteristics!
  • DON’T – Make a big scene if you don’t like a wine; simply ask to dump it out. The person next to you may love that wine!
  • DO – Feel free to bring your family.
  • DON’T – Allow your children to be unsupervised at any time in the winery or on the grounds.
  • DO – Feel free to walk in the vineyards.
  • DON’T – Touch the vines or grapes. You have no way to know when the last pesticide application was; besides, we need all of our grapes to make the outstanding wine you are tasting!
  • DO - Have snacks in the car or enjoy them in our picnic area.
  • DON’T – Have snacks at the tasting bar. What may be appealing to you may be an off odor to the person next to you. Also, chewing gum or mints before your tasting will affect the way your wine tastes. Try to avoid these things.
  • DO – Display respect to other groups.
  • DON’T – Get upset if you have to get cozy with other groups or patiently wait your turn to get to the tasting bar! Our wine consultants try to work as many groups in as possible so that no one has a long wait!
  • DO – Feel free to bring your dog to the picnic area of the winery. Please keep them on a leash and under your control at all times.
  • DON’T – Bring your dog inside the winery or forget to clean up after them – using the provided trash cans outside.
  • DO – Purchase wine! Think of the tasting room as a “try before you buy” experience!
  • DON’T – Forget that the tasting room is the best place to find our outstanding wines!
